Our entire team attends continuing education seminars and workshops, like Dental Boot Kamp, to increase our ability to give our patients the best care possible. Dr. Titensor and his team are members of the Crown Council, an international round table of leading dentists (such as Bill Dorfman of ABC’s Extreme Makeover TV series) and team members who are committed to excellence. The Crown Council shares the very best of their ideas and talents to improve the health and wellness in communities and the quality of dental care worldwide. Members are strongly committed to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer, and serving their communities through charitable work.
Meet Dr. Titensor
Dr. Titensor was born and raised in southern California but has called Texas his home since coming here in 1982 to attend the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry. After his graduation from dental school, Dr. Titensor wanted to give his patients more than the accepted standard of a “drill and fill” practice. To remain in touch with the latest advances in general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Titensor has attended more than one thousand hours in advanced dental courses - taught by some of the top clinicians in the world. He is one of the few dentists in the country with extensive training in TMJ, Invisalign, oral sedation, and the new revolutionary DuraTHIN veneers. The ability to create a beautiful, natural-looking smile is heavily influenced by a dentist’s talent and skill. An esthetic, functional result is ultimately achieved when a dentist has both experience and education in the field of cosmetic dentistry, TMJ, and advanced dentistry.
“Because of the training that I have received,” says Dr. Titensor, “my practice has elevated the standard of dentistry my patients receive. I am dedicated to providing effective corrective dental techniques and procedures that maintain and restore health to the teeth and gum tissue, and I use only cosmetic and restorative materials that meet the approval of the most discriminating dental professionals. I personally believe that a smile is a very important aspect of an individual’s presentation and can give someone greater self confidence and assurance.”
Dr. Titensor is a dental professional committed to excellence and performing clinical procedures correctly the first time. “I am also very concerned with getting the tooth foundation corrected before patients spend money on beautiful veneers or cosmetic work. Just like misaligned tires on a car, teeth out of balance can lead to excessive wear and breakage. A balanced bite will help your teeth and dental work last longer, but can also make you look younger by relaxing the muscles in your face. My personal commitment to maintaining the highest standard in dentistry gives my patients the assurance that keeps them smiling with complete confidence.”
When Dr. Titensor is not busy creating beautiful smiles, he loves spending time with his family. He has been married more than 27 years to his wife, Lisa. They have four talented children, Ashley, Brett, Diana, and Shannon; one son in law, Chad; and one vivacious grandson, Jace.
